2024 Parkinson’s Walk for a Cure
Thank you for your interest in the 13th Annual Parkinson’s Walk for a Cure where families and friends join together to: 1) increase awareness of how prevalent Parkinson’s disease is becoming within Pickaway County, 2) provide on-going support for those persons and caregivers in our community who are experiencing the real-life challenges of Parkinson’s disease, 3) raise funds to advance research to find a cure through the Parkinson’s Foundation.
April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month! Our in-person event will be on April 27, 2024 and will be at Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park, 1230 Pontius Rd, Circleville, OH 43113. On-site registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. A minimal registration fee of $25 that includes PWFAC 2024 t-shirt.
On the registration page, there is an option to choose a virtual walk if you are unable to attend the in-person walk.
Half of your donation remains here within our community through a Parkinson’s fund managed and maintained by the Pickaway County Community Foundation (PCCF). The other portion of your donation is directed to the Parkinson’s Foundation to advance research for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and to ultimately find a cure.
