Pickaway County's Imagination Library is currently serving over 1,000 children, representing more than a quarter of the eligible children.

Imagination Library is a book-gifting program for children under the age of 5. Parents can enroll their children online to receive one age-appropriate book in the mail every month until their 5th birthday. Books are selected by the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Foundation and focus on development skills needed for pre-literacy and literacy skills. Many of the titles include prompts for parents or guardians to encourage interaction and building their children's school readiness. Local sponsors/champions make the program possible in our area. The Ohio Governor's Imagination Library matches our local funds, allowing us to reach even more children.
